Kim Porters Official Autopsy Adds More Mystery To Her Sudden Death

Publish date: 2024-07-09

Last month, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ex-girlfriend and baby momma Kim Porter was found dead in her Los Angeles home. But, even after her autopsy, what caused the 47-year-old’s sudden death is still a mystery.

After the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office performed the autopsy, spokeswoman Sarah Ardalani told USA Today that they were deferring the cause of death pending additional tests. They also performed toxicology tests, but those results could take weeks.

According to TMZ, Porter wasn’t feeling well and went to bed early on the night of November 14th, but the next morning the family couldn’t wake her, and they called the paramedics.

Authorities pronounced Porter dead at the scene.

At the time of her death, Porter was taking saline and vitamins because she thought she had the flu or pneumonia, but authorities are looking into the possibility that she contracted a disease during a trip to Africa.

Porter and Combs dated off and on between 1994 and 2007. In 1998 they welcomed their son Christian, and in 2006 they welcomed twin daughters Jessie James and D’Lila. Porter was also the mother of a son named Quincy from her brief marriage to singer Al B. Sure!.

Not long after Porter’s death, Combs wrote on Instagram that he had been trying to wake up from this nightmare, and he didn’t know what he was going to do without her. He added that it was hard to find the words to explain their “unexplainable relationship.” Combs wrote that he and Porter were more than best friends and more than soulmates.

Jessie and D’Lila just celebrated their first Christmas without their mom, and Diddy and Quincy did everything they could to bring smiles to the girls’ faces. The music mogul posted a holiday pic on Twitter that featured his twin girls hugging him in front of their massive Christmas tree, and he added the caption, “Merry Christmas to you and yours.”

On Instagram, Quincy posted a photo of himself and his younger sisters surrounded by opened gifts on Christmas morning and captioned it by writing, “They ask me what I do and who I do it for @the_combs_twins.”
